The Practitioner is the second of two examinations that you are required to pass to become a Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner. The examination measures whether a candidate can demonstrate sufficient ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 to the running and managing of a project. A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the method to a real project. This course conforms to the 2017 syllabus.

Accreditations
The purpose of the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination is to assess whether the candidate can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the PRINCE2 project management method. The format of the exam is as follows:
- 150-minute exam duration
- 38/68 required to pass = 55% pass mark
- Open book (official PRINCE2 manual only)
Pre-requisites for the practitioner qualification
In order to sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination you must provide proof of having passed one of the following:
- PRINCE2 Foundation
- Project Management Professional (PMP)®
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
- IPMA Level A (Certified Projects Director)
- IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
- IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
- IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
Individual IPMA chapters have local interpretations of these certificates eg in the UK the APM is the IPMA chapter. The APM Level D certification is their APM Project Management qualification. Only current certifications will qualify as a pre-requisite.

- A backup CD is available as an optional extra for this product and runs in line with the course license period. CDs are non-transferable and can only be used by the registered delegate.
