This course will introduce the learner to the subject of domestic abuse, including its various forms, and its impact on victims of all ages, genders and abilities.

• Acknowledge the barriers to victims leaving a relationship with an abusive partner
• Explain the impact of domestic abuse
• Explain the impact of domestic abuse on children
• Acknowledge the impact of domestic abuse on people with disabilities
